Our Story
Why we started Highlands Property Co
After many years working in property management across both residential and commercial sectors,
we recognised a gap in the regional market. Commercial property owners often weren't receiving the specialist knowledge, proactive communication and strategic service their investments deserved.
Too often, commercial properties were managed as an extension of residential portfolios, despite the very different legislation, leasing requirements, compliance obligations and investment considerations involved.
Highlands Property Co was established to fill that gap.
Created from a passion for commercial property and a belief that regional property owners deserve access to specialist expertise without compromising on service, Highlands Property Co is dedicated to commercial property management while also supporting residential investment properties where they complement our commercial clients.
We believe exceptional property management is built on authentic relationships, clear communication, accountability and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Wiesha Sherwood is the Director of Highlands Property Co., bringing more than two decades of business experience and extensive expertise in commercial and residential property management. Having successfully owned and operated businesses, she understands the commitment, challenges and opportunities that come with running a business and managing valuable assets.
With a strong background in commercial leasing, asset management, lease negotiations, market rent reviews, compliance, trust accounting and business development, Wiesha has built a reputation for delivering authentic, professional service and fostering long-term client relationships. She works closely with property owners, tenants, solicitors, valuers and contractors to provide practical advice and tailored property solutions.
Throughout her career, Wiesha has gained valuable experience across the private sector and local government, giving her a comprehensive understanding of property management, governance, legislation and stakeholder engagement. Her expertise spans commercial, retail and residential property management, allowing her to confidently support clients through every stage of property ownership and investment.
As a fully licensed estate agent in Victoria, Wiesha established Highlands Property Co. with a vision to deliver specialist commercial property management across regional Victoria, while also providing residential investment property management for clients whose property portfolios align with the business's commercial focus. She believes exceptional property management is built on clear communication, an authentic approach, proactive service and lasting relationships.
